Innovalia is a centre for R&D excellence in niches of knowledge that enjoys international presence and is recognised as a technology stakeholder. As an R&D+i business unit of the Innovalia Group, it represents a private associated R&D laboratory manages has its own highly-qualified research staff and research equipment.

The purpose of Innovalia is to help create technology-based products by engaging in research and innovation activities with large, medium and small partner companies and collaborators. Innovalia´s areas of specialisation include the following:
