Tecnalia

Tecnalia is a private independent technology corporation created within the Basque technology environment. Tecnalia is an internationally known organisation whose members include the following technology centres: Azti, European Software Institute (ESI), Fatronik, Inasmet, Labein, Neiker, and Robotiker. Euve and Leia are in the process of incorporation. Present in all of the Basque technology parks, Technalia´s mission is to contribute value and wealth to society in general, and to the business fabric in particular, through research and innovation in an international context. The operative model is based on sectorial business units characterised by market orientation, and technological specialisation and excellence. In 2008 Tecnalia had a workforce of 1,378, turnover of €128.1 million and €32 million in investments in new equipment and technological infrastructure.
