TOURWARE (Saiotek Programme)

The purpose of this project is to define, design and perfectly conceptualise a system based on tourism experiences and knowledge that opens the door to innovative services for the tourism industry and will be a basis for future R+D projects generated in the Basque Country.

Therefore the project will study technology used for the deployment of new proactive services that allow tourists to interact with the device itself by means of mechanisms that facilitate interaction with content and services.

This will allow them to personalise tourism experiences and share experiences with a defined group of users. It will also improve interaction between person and device through context-sensitive technologies that automatically display the personalised content on the screen.
