ERNEST - 8th Project meeting
On the framework of the ERA – NET Project ERNEST – European Research NEtwork on Sustainable Tourism- Basquetour has organized the 8th Project meeting in Vitoria on November 24-25 with the collaboration of CICtourGUNE and Innobasque.
This consortium is composed of different regions from different Member States as Denmark, France, Italy, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Greece and Spain among others. The network, funded through the European Commission 7th Framework Programme, is focused on sustainable tourism from different points of view such as transport, environment, agriculture, socio-economics sciences and health.
The meetings will take place at the “Europa” Conference Hall in Vitoria and will gather around twenty European experts on sustainable tourism. It will also include two working visits as examples of sustainable tourism in the Basque Country: the Geopark of the Basque Coast and Vitoria as European Green Capital in 2012.
